For the third year in a row I am partnering with Team California Juniors to provide opportunities for American juniors to race abroad. Similar to 2022 and 2023 we have a group of 17-18 year old junior men racing in both the Junior Tour of Ireland followed by a three week race block in Belgium. We had so many inquiries for this year that we are fielding two full teams at the Junior Tour of Ireland. One will be racing in Team California Juniors kit and one will be racing as Tête de la Course Cycling. The Tête de la Course Cycling Team for Ireland is comprised of Troy Sanders, Nate Meister, Thomas Tabinor, Grant Emsiter and Jack Ralston and will be directed by Devin Wilson.
I would be remiss if I didn’t give a big “THANK YOU” to Castelli U.S. for providing kit specifically for this race block. This is one of the many reasons why I have partnered with the crew based out of Portland for the past 15 years. Thanks again Julien and Cody and everyone involved for taking my calls for a new tiny project that I have in mind and making it a reality.
During the next few weeks Nate Meister, who I have been coaching for a little over a year now, will be providing blog entries here on the site detailing his first trip racing in Ireland and Belgium. His first entry will be tomorrow so stay tuned.
