I started racing as a junior in NW Ohio in 1983. My ceiling as an athlete was a very average category 1 racer whose skill set was helping others as a domestique. The lessons I learned from that personal experience was trying to race as efficiently and intelligently as possible as I possess a “limited” physical capacity. This has influenced my approach as a coach and sport director – the most important muscle is the one between your ears so use it to the best of your ability – smarter not harder.       • 2021 Junior World Champion Elimination (silver and bronze medalist also)

      • Highlights include Best Young Rider Redlands, QOM jersey holder at Tour of Ardeche, Collegiate National Champion

    • Logan Owen 2008-19 – he is the one that really propelled me into coaching full time
      • I coached Logan from a 13 year old junior all the way through to his first year on the World Tour
      • During our time working together he won 12 National Championship Titles, placed 4th in both Junior CX and Road World Championships and 3rd overall in the Junior Men’s CX World Cup
