Congratulations to Tête de la Course Cycling athletes Arjuna Burgos and Riley Halpern on their performances at the Junior National Track Championships held last week at the Jerry Baker Velodrome.

Arjuna won two National titles, the first in the 15-16 men’s individual pursuit winning with a time of 3:38.35 which was just over four seconds faster than second place. His second title came in the kilo where he posted a time just over two seconds faster than second. Arjuna followed these up with a bronze medal in the omnium (winning the 3km scratch race and getting second in the elimination) and a silver medal in the 15-18 team pursuit.

Riley won a bronze medal in the 17-18 women’s individual pursuit besting her competition by two seconds.
